Stuttering verbal directions (6600 and TTM)

Has anyone else had problems with the "voice that knows the way" stuttering once the Gatos, Redlight and SPECS POI have been uploaded onto their Nokia 6600??

I deleted the SPECS and Redlight POI files and the stutter reduced itself, but it is still there!!

I thought about reducing the amount of data in the gatos.ov2 file (I have no need for POI in Scotland and Wales) but am struggling to find a POIT Editor that is any good.

Any thoughts??

How did you install the GPS POI database and enable it.

I can't get mine to recognise the POI OV2 file even though it's in the correct folder in the phone card.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to copy the files over using a card reader, NOT any Nokia or infra-red file copy software - as there seems to be a problem with the transfer of the data within the files. If you use a card reader the data is copied over and all is well.

i have tried the cure and it does seem to work.
