do inactive speedcams show up

Hi I passed some speedcams today the big yellow ones poi warner alerted me ok on all except one got me wondering if it was inactive
for some reason would poi warner ignore it not clued up on this yet

Safety Camera Databases are just records of locations. If no-one has reported the location then it won't appear in the database.

Because it is a passive datbase it has no way of knowing if a camera is active or not. If you see locations that do not appear in the database then it would be useful if you reported the exact location, camera type (if known i.e. Gatso, Truvelo, SPECS etc) and the Road Speed Limit at that location.

Hi thanks for info understand a bit better now the cam is in morcambe lancs going again next week will note details not up on cam types it was one of the
big yellow ones often seen at junctions etc
