TomTom GO6200.
This device has the "Lifetime" subscription for both Maps and Speed Cameras. I am fully aware "Lifetime" is the useful lifetime for how long TomTom will actually provide updates and support etc.
As and when, the device would show a pop-up window indicating there was a new Speed Camera "Database" available. When within range of your WiFi signal coverage, you would accept and install the speed camera Database update. This used to happen as a minimum twice weekly, and sometimes 3 times weekly.
However, for the past 4 weeks, there has been NO "pop-up" message whatsoever on the device, hence NO speed camera Database updates. In fact the only updates offered have been Map Share "Community Map" updates and the "Charging Station" POI Database, for Electric and Hybrid vehicles.
Ironically, this was one of the key features of this model, using WiFi, as advertised by TomTom
Does anyone know if TomTom have stopped providing Speed Camera "Database" updates via WiFi?
If this is the case, does it mean you will have to connect the device to a Computer and login to your account on My Drive Connect?
The device has the current Europe Map: v1065.10703 and the current application version: 20.102.003.411 (Feb 2021)

My 620 has been getting updates, but thankfully not two or three times a week like the OP seems to suggest he used to get, but more like per month for me.
I find the updates annoying when all you want to do is start your journey!
The 620 is the same as 6200 but without the pointless built in SIM card, as I link it to my phone WiFi when driving. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

I agree about the SIM, users are reporting that the 2G SIM isn't a very good communication tool and as countries turn off 2G it doesn't work.
Since Garmin announced the end of their digital traffic I've ben investigating and TT don't get top marks.
It also seems that to receive smartphone data to your device you need a live TT account and there seem to be lots of owners requesting account resets as it sometimes fails and leaves you without traffic.
Since the pandemic I've seen some forum reset requests taking up to 3 weeks, not good. _________________ DashCam:

Just to clarify, the device would display a "pop-up" prompt, indicating there was a new speed camera "Database" available. These files are more than 6Mb in size. But as I say, this is the Database only, so the device should have the very latest data, for the countries covered on the map, as per TomTom's latest data.
While using the device on a planned route, the device would still warn of either Fixed, Mobile, and Mobile "hot-spot" cameras, and all this info works okay.
The point I was making was that the device had not displayed it's usual "pop-up" message, indicating there was a newer database available, to be downloaded, for some 4 weeks. Prior to that, the device would always advise of a newer speed camera "Database" available, at least twice a week.
At the time I sent the original post, I connected the device to the PC, logged in to MyDrive Connect, and manually added the speed cameras to the device.
However, as if by magic, 2 days later, the device advised of the availability of a newer speed camera "Database". Once I was within range of a good WiFi signal, I accepted and downloaded/installed the database.
My conclusion is that it was probably an account issue with the device, as I had manually updated the cameras via MyDrive Connect, and then within 2 days, the device was "back to normal", with the on-screen prompt.
