When with Camera Alert be fixed to work with Samsung Phones and Android 10???

The issues is now very, VERY OLD...

I really just do not understand how such a bug can be left for so long without a fix.

Or am I alone in thinking this?

Now some six months since these issues were raised, is there any sign of a solution?

No

I'm now using SpeedTrap Alert that is a very worthy replacement.

But it aint no CamAlert though Sad I know CamAlert was a freebie, but I would pay for it if it were to return. As handy as STA is, it doesn't update with one touch, run as a list without the map or run on top of other apps I may want to use with it. It'll do, but PGPSW are being a bit like politicians and not answering the questions directly asked of them Sad

Yes it does. Update = about three touches. Why would you even want a list? Surely the prime concern is to be warned about the presence of a camera as you approach it and it does that just fine?

Because that is what I want and how I used CA, with none of my limited data being used. Just because it is not the way you want to use it, doesn't mean it shouldn't be used, or that I shouldn't want to run it in that mode. 3 taps is also more than I used on CA, open one app and open CA, it sits on top, no additional presses.

STA and CA are different but I've adapted to STA now. The update cycle I've got used to now.

If CA ever is worked on then I'd make my mind up then which one to proceed with.

So I assume that CA no longer works on A10? That would explain why it wont run any more - great! Angry

SpeedTrap Alert is a worthy replacement.

It seems that CA is now 'as is' with no potential of any further development.

It would be good to get confirmation that CamerAlert is not supported on Android. It is the only way I use my subscription so I may as well cancel it. I'm not interested in downloading files manually...
