Ah, I see now. Didn't know about them. Just realised that the fitting on mine are not magnetic, but clippy things.

67 x 93 for the 2699 doesn't compute as 93mm is only just under 4"

Off to get the full dimensions .......

...... 168 x 94

Touch and go, only 1mm spare room but thats a flat piece of card. I can't move the mount because the dash isn't flat and it's in the best position. Needs a physical test

Has it got traffic via the power cable as per my 2699LMT-D or just by smartphone link?

Yes, traffic via power cable.

Also by smartphone link but I don't always use this because I tend not to enable bluetooth on my phone in order to maximise battery life. So I guess that is the same for all the smartphone enabled functions in the unit.

You're welcome.
Got the 61LMT-D and the screen is a thing of beauty. The only criticism (screen wise) is that the Traffic display etc. still takes up 1/3 of the RH side of the screen and with the larger screen text size, this is wider than it needs to be. They have obviously just scaled it up horizontally from the 800 x 600 (4:3 stretched to 16:9) to the new 1024 x 600 (16:9) pixels.

Now to make up my 'TJT special' push in mount.

If you've still got it in stock in Sept, but if you get a bite, don't wait for me.
