Does anyone know if custom poi's can be added to the tomtom navigation in 2016 Ssangyong Korandos and Tivolis? According to Tomtom's own website, Ssangyong are using Navkit software and the hardware uses an SD card to install maps. Although I'm using a Garmin 760 at present for its ability to take into account the size of my car/caravan outfit, not that it works very well, I've had two Tomtom units in the past and liked the simplicity of dropping ov2 and bitmap files into the same folder as the map and it just worked. I have a lower order Korando at the moment but I'm thinking of splashing out on an upgrade. It would be great to have a satnav that I didn't have to hide every time I stopped!

I don't know the answer, but I would advise caution.

The TT built in stuff seems mostly based on their latest software which means they are inaccessible for adding POIs in any useful fashion. Their older built in units used a slightly customised version of TomTom Home and could do the cameras and other POIs very well. But newer stuff uses a (horrendously) customised version of MyDrive Connect and is impossible to fiddle with.
