I'll probably just take the easy option and temporarily switch it off Wink

Just used csv converter without turning it off and had no issues Shocked

Hope that doesn't mean the anti-ransome program isn't working correctly?

Computers eh

So you have no exclusions set.

Could be anything with heuristics. Are you high power? The speed my files are processed under a SSD and an i7 with 32Gb RAM could have raised it's suspicions.
Presumably your MWB is the same beta version as the one I posted.

I've had no issues previously until this latest anti-ransom that was updated last week.

Yep, same version, but mines an ancient HP with a slow processor and no SSD, no doubt an advantage in this case Very Happy

At least I'm aware and have the answer.

Also proves that MWB is working on unknown programs. It allowed about 10 csv to gpx conversions before stopping it dead in its tracks and shifting the program to quarantine.

My TomTom 930 has just expired and I have read alll of your current advice and guidance. I noted especially that you have the Nuvi 2599LMT-D model, which is now available at a £50 reduction from Amazon. If you were buying afresh today would you stick with your existing model or go up to the 50LMT-D? I don't fancy anything bigger than a 5" screen personally.

I am a great PGPSW camera database fan, too.

Thanks

Mike Gordon

TomTom 930 deceased!

I wouldn't call a nuvi 50 'up' from the 2599, more down IMO.

My 2599 has been rock solid since day 1.

The only criticism I have is the glass screen. You have to angle it 'just so' to avoid the car rear windows reflections.

Think of the screen as a mirror. Mine is angled slighty upwards and is reflecting the centre of the inside ceiling and is clear. The previous matt screens were better but glass looks prettier.

I had a 2016 DriveAssist for a day and took it back. Mainly for the abysmal camera and vibration due to the corner mount, but also because they have changed the voice control from proper commands to numbers.
They show the available options, sometimes on 2 pages, and you shout the associated number of the function you want.

Now I have no heavy accent but it kept telling me that my 'two' and 'three' also 'four' and 'five' sounded too similar for the unit to log my 'three' and 'five' voice print.
Ended up having to use elongated silly sounding thrrreeee and fffiiive to get it to log.

I've made a small change to the Converter.

New version, same location is now 2016.10.13.46

I've added a Working Directory checker. It just checks whether the programs has Read\Write access to where you've selected:

Hopefully:

But you may get something like:

If it has issues. Errors 75 and 76 are most likely.

I am just running this up now and Avast also flags up warning. I clicked on "I trust this file" and it installed OK.

Sorry for being daft but where is the actual Help file located? I have downloaded the latest zip file, got around Avast and am now stuck.

Apologies
