I've used the app a couple of times without issue but recently, for no apparent reason the app now crashes?
It seems to start ok but it crashes at the first camera location I come to.
I did tweak the Direction difference and warning cone as I was getting notifications for cameras not on the road I was one?
Not sure what those settings were, so cannot set them back to what they were...
I don't use the map view and the phone screen is off normally.

I have multiple crash logs but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to attach them and the 'send logs' in the app results in a message back saying that the mails aren't monitored or replied to?

Any help would be appreciated,
Andy

To get the settings back to what they were, just stick them in the middle values. Incidentally, it is unlikely that's what's causing the problem.

I've had a look through the logs and they're all the same. It's a permission issue by the looks of things.
The doesn't have WAKE_LOCK permissions, which I believe it needs to be able to notify whilst the device is in a suspended state?
It was working though, which is odd..
Next time I use it I'll set it to keep the device from suspending and see what happens.

Have you recently installed Marshmallow? If so could it be anything to do with the changed procedures for app permissions?

We *DO* receive them, it's just a standard auto-reply but ones sent from CamerAlert do come through the filter on the server.

That's interesting... Will pass this on to the team.

That won't affect it. Apps not using the Marshmallow permissions will work in the old way. We've not updated to the Marshmallow permissions.
