I have been given the following coordinates:

Lat: 45.398751315166756 & Long: 1.2141609191894531

How can I enter these in Garmin 2699 please? Or can I convert these to normal N,E,W,S coordinates?

Looks like an elongated decimal to me. Probably look recognisable as

45.3987 1.2141

Aux deux arbres in France

The OP's co-ordinates must give the location to a couple of nanometers

Just select the decimal lat/long format in coordinates on your nuvi and enter the numbers until you can't enter any more Wink

In Coordination tools options I have:
British National Grid
Finnish Grid
French Grid
Gauss-Boara East
Gauss-Boara West
h.ddd.ddddd
h.ddd.mm.mmm
h.ddd.mm.ss
MGRS
Swidish Grid
Swidish Grid SWEREF
US National Gris
UTM

Tried all - none actually gives Lat and Long options

It is there.

It's h.ddd.dddd that you want, for degrees and decimal degrees.

Unfortunately Garmin design has gone backwards, and you also have to specify N before the first numbers, and E before the second numbers.

(N because we're in the northern hemisphere, and E because there isn't a minus sign before the second set of numbers which would indicate W).

Hemisphere (NSEW)

But looks like it's rarely used, except by Garmin.
