Traffic does not work on TomTom Mobile, just like it doesn't work on GO or the Palm versions. Hopefully there will be updates either before Xmas or the other side of Xmas that may enable this.

CheckPOInt will not work on TomTom Mobile. There is a POI Alert feature built into TomTom Mobile. Personally I haven't had a chance to use it as I have only just got my hands on TomTom Mobile, but Darren has been widely using it with our Safety Camera Database. It got quite annoying when Darren and I were driving around the M25 having the following applications all reporting our cameras ;-) :-
- TomTom GO
- TomTom Navigator 3
- TomTom Mobile
- CoPilot Live PPC 5
- CoPilot SmartPhone

In-fact we were running 6 navigation products in-car at the time, and boy was it chatty! Enough to drive you insane ;-)

As always in life you listen to the one who shouts loudest!

As for the OP's question, TT Mobile has built-in POI Alerting which works fine, just enable the POI you wish to receive alerts for and configure the POI Warning.
