I see Garmin are about to release the new 2016 Range of devices.

What's the chances of these being absolute lemons like the latest range of TomTom devices are?

Any reviews out?

Not sure what you mean? The new 'Drive' range was announced a while back Wink

I was just wondering how usable these new Drive devices will be once released in the UK. Do you expect them to have been properly tested?

The TT5100/6100 despite being out for some time now really isn't that great with poor performance, updating problems etc...

The 'Drive' is very little different from the nuvi it replaces so I don't believe it'll cause any issues.

Ok, so asking another £160 from a Nuvi2599 at £140 to a DriveLuxe50 at £300 is a bit of a stretch?

Certainly is, and if you're in the market for a new satnav pick up a nuvi before they're all gone as the equivalent Drive models appear more expensive Twisted Evil

Having said that I'd expect to see a fall in prices in due course ...
