Downloaded and installed. No obvious problems. _________________ Anita

Funnily enough, this morning I had a spurious message flash on the screen suggesting I should connect my device to the computer to install map corrections, you know the ones that have not worked for several months. Anyway, get home and check PGPSW as I always do, and see there is a new map update. Connect my device, download and install new map, and all the 37kb of corrections has gone, so maybe Tomtom have got them working again. However I don't see poi bus stops yet, so it looks as though they are still not reinstated. |

I connected my device again today and notice there are no map corrections. Now that seems a bit strange because in the past there are usually map corrections somewhere in Europe every day. Maybe I'm a sceptic but could it be that Tomtom have done away with map corrections? Just a thought. |

Mine took 3hrs and 20mins plus I had to use an 8GB micro sd in my TTGo 50. But it worked fine today with a 960 mile round trip to Scotland! |

Update on my previous posting regarding Map Sharing; it's still there but as before it's not working. |

I tried this update on my 930. First it had problems with backing up the old data. Then it fell over on the download. Now I have a brick! My backup on my PC is now not visible to Tom Tom Home so it screwed the backup too, my Europe map is stuffed and the device only sees the USA map on its external card. Good job TomTom.
Is there any way to recover a Europe map manually? I think if I can install that then do a clean backup I might have a fighting chance.
I am searching the database here for some guidance but no luck so far.
Thanks

I thought I did but what happened was that somehow when the download kicked off it ran a backup by default and promptly over wrote the good stuff with the bad!
I have managed to salvage most other bits but noticed certain files like cline.date are corrupted so I have bitten the bullet and reformatted everything to try to reconstruct what was.
This was Europe stuff on the card and the USA on the device.
Wish me luck and thanks.
