We Garmin owners can't chuckle too much as we have that preitnegg bug, or however it's spelt.

It hit the news recently according to another website article.

Although I've never seen it Smile

I believe it seems mainly prevalent amongst those who only have Western Europe installed Wink

The article mentioned was that it only appeared when an alternative route was generated.

It said, often the alternative route added 1,200 km to some journeys as it went via this European town.

Just how big a hole can TT dig for themselves.?
They have accepted that it is a problem but shall not correct it until the Q2 maps due in May 2016!
Unbelievable. Shocked

Pretenegg is shown on traffic information on my device, I don't usually re- route as I don't trust the accuracy of the traffic info and am usually proven correct!!

Funny you should mentiong the extra mileage, check out how much I could have saved if I had taken my new route!!!

http://bit.ly/1Q1a5Hc

That's some saving when you consider the original route is only 110 miles!!!

The more sophisticated these units get the more bugs they introduce.

I remember my original TT1, big clunky black box, but it did the navigation bit very well. (and it took the cameras from here)
