I want to plan journeys on a tablet. Unfortunately Google maps has no option for shortest route v fastest route, etc.
I've noted that the TomTom Android app is free and allows up to 50 free driving miles a month.
My tablet never moves and would be purely an armchair planning tool so would this app be suitable and be free? _________________ DashCam:

TomTom Android doesn't offer you a choice of route, that has to be preset in settings so it would be a bit of a faff looking at different options, but as long as your armchair isn't exceeding the monthly allowance it will be free to use. _________________ Galaxy Note 4 / TomTom GO : CamerAlert : CoPilot |

Thanks
I've taken the plunge and it does allow me to change routing options fairly easily so job done.
Just need a wheel clamp for the chair now. _________________ DashCam:

Armchairs need handcuffs, not wheel clamps. _________________ Dennis

You seem not to have noticed that I finished my sentence with not just one, but two prepositions. Very bad form according to some. |

I most certainly DID notice, but I refrained from commenting with a view to maintaining my record of posts which are extremely useful, pertinent and relevant. _________________ Dennis

Don't do that Dennis, it would severely curtail the increase in your magnificent post count. |
