pocketgpsworld.com
The Trapster app warned millions of users of the wherabouts of speed and red light cameras cameras across the world.

But slowly its users deserted them and now it has decided to close its doors.

An announcement from the Trapster management to its remaining users reads: "After evaluating our ongoing investments, we have decided to discontinue the Trapster service by the end of the year. It is hard to imagine saying goodbye after 7 years but we want to thank you for using Trapster and your loyalty to the Trapster community. Thank you, Team Trapster".

Here at PocketGPSWorld.com we have always believed our camera alerts to be the best.

And here is why...

Similar to our competitors, we get hundreds of incorrect entries which include camera locations in the middle of fields, the North Sea, wrong country etc. These are not malicious reports, just genuine mistakes with submitters entering the wrong co-ordinates.

This is why we can never take a single submission on trust alone. Reliability is paramount; therefore all reported locations are consequently visited by our team of verifiers and physically checked.

We know that our customers trust the data that we provide them with. They are aware that we make no decisions without the huge amounts of feedback they provide us within our community forums. This results in both their support and ongoing loyalty. They continually express their appreciation for the transparent way that all our database decisions are arrived at.

Other companies who purely rely on community reporting or 'sharing' quickly realise that the information is often useless without stringent verification.

With our vast pool of reporters coupled with our proprietary 'tested-to-destruction' verification system, we firmly believe that the quality of our data is the best available.

A quick perusal of our speed camera forums will confirm that our manufacturer independent data is widely regarded as the best available and most trusted in the UK.

Within this forum you will also find the hundreds of complaints concerning competitors' offerings.

very true, I have the AA Great Britain Atlas 2015 edition and it has a speed camera in the last three years that claims to be 30 on a virtual cart track.
to the west just off the B4518 north of Rhayader on both the 4 mile and 2.5 mile to inch books

Well, I suppose 75% accuracy is OK for some people.
