I've not been on the forums for 5 years Embarassed and in fact I have just replied and apologised to a private message answer that was sent me 5 years ago.

Information:

Two cars, both have built in sat nav. One is Mazda (Tomtom) with Live Services, so I get up-to-date(ish) camera information. With the other car I have been using my Novus Rider - but they were taken over and their database is now very old and unreliable.

So, I'm thinking of subscribing to the database here and using the android app on my phone. Are there any disadvantages in doing it this way or is there a better way.

Thank you for any advice on this matter.

Replying to my own post. I've just read comments from here and all are very positive about the Pocket GPS W database, so I think I will go for it with the app or use it with an old portable Tomtom.

Using the CamerAlert app on my smartphone is a lot easier that connecting my TT SatNav and downloading the database each week.

So, to answer your question, Yes, I believe that it is the best way to go.
