Harley BoomBox V Route66 Maps

Hi, I am shortly renting a 2014 Harley Ultra Trike in order to travel route 66. The trike is fitted with a boombox infotainment system. However I understand that Route 66 is notoriously difficult to travel just using a standard GPS system - even google maps struggles to find the correct route. SO I want to manually plot day by day the route in advance & then upload onto the trike when I pick it up.
Can anyone offer any advice here:
1) Which mapping SW does the boombox use?
2) Any advice on how to plot each section on a PC?
3) Is there any prebuilt mapping data for R66 that anyone has come across?

One NONE mapping idea is that I input the route using voice on my phone, save each as a playlist & then playback the relevant sections using the VR on the trike - this sounds OK (if the theory works)

Any help or advice would indeed be appreciated.

I'm sure I remember reading about a TomTom itinerary file(s) or POI location files that covered Route 66

I've no idea what file format you need for the Harley system, but there are plenty of utility programs that can convert TomTom files to other formats.
