How is this project coming on? I have a Talex Lite and would much rather us the pgpsw database as I know from experince with a Drivesmart just how good that data is.

Please can have an update on the position of importing a modified version of the pgpsw databse into the Talex and how long before it is ready for downloading?

Correct. But as InfoRad now use our data it's also not as important anymore.

If only the InfoRad had a true speed readout like the Talex - or does it ?

Just curious.. considering Novus are no longer supporting the Novus/Talex products with anymore database updates, would this project get revived? or better off selling it and buying a inforad?

No chance. It could be done but required many man hours in getting data in the right format. Get a basic tomtom and use this database or similar. The only use for the talex/novus now is a real speed readout and showing your latitude and longitude (unless you want to pay Adam Blair's outrageous charges for an unproven database! Smile )

thanks bud,

Yeah Id kinda worked out the same.. I've been playing with CameraAlert app on my Samsung and it works nice.. Id suggest some tweeks but otherwise i think it will replace my Novus/Talex devices..

I also have a few old Android phones, (HTC Legend & a HTC oneV), low end phones but will run the cameraAlert app nicely, so I might dedicate them to this..

Thanks again for the response.
