Vodafone have a 20MHz allocation at 850MHz specifically for 4G, so have no need to re use existing spectrum, i'm not sure how many times people need telling that 2G will be around for many many years to come, as there is simply too much infrastructure in use that relies on it.

They will need telling many times as a little knowledge on a subject is great news for conspiracy theorists.

With the poor or non-existant GPRS I get from Vodafone on my smartfone I thought they had already reduced the 2G spectrum Rolling Eyes , although the Android TomTom Traffic works quite well. Very Happy

VF 3G is even worse, so hope TT never use it! Rolling Eyes Very Happy

The main thing to understand is that the 6000 will connect over mobile networks across Europe without incurring any expensive data charges. If you have the 600 and go to France, then you have to make sure your mobile phone is enabled for data in France. Depending on your tariff this could mount up costs quickly. Some networks like 3 have 5 pounds per day fixed rate....but if you need it everyday for a week or two, then costs still mount up.
