|
|
The new models have appeared on the TT website [not 4000 or 5000 yet]. No option to purchase from TT directly, but usual suspects eg Halfords, Currys, etc. apparently are taking orders.
No sign of my requested email from TT advising of when new models are available! _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

I got an email from Amazon offering the whole range, UK and EU. Top price is £299, and UK models are £10 cheaper than the EU models. |

Wow. I can sort of understand no itineraries or POI - they have to be minor, but no local search (only via on board database) or Map Share (a key plank of their marketing for years now) is stunning. These really are fresh out of the box, cut features to deadlines models. Now, TomTom have a good reputation for doing software updates for older models, so they have time to fix these things, but it does seem quite amazing.
I shall hold off until that list is mostly "it's there". |

Quote: | Some of the functionalities you are used to are not available in the initially released products, and others have been removed to improve the navigation experience. |
How does that work then?

They obviously don't want a repeat of the 'NAV3 wishlist' topic! _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
