You can fit the new models onto your existing GO1005 mount (but not vice versa). The new mount has a MICRO-USB socket, (not a mini one) and the unit itself has one too for easier PC connection.

Correct. Unless they DO get them implemented by launch date. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Thanks for the reply, ill stick with my 1005 then, at least I can use a good camera database.
Why do they always do this ? its so annoying , surely they must know there are a lot of users who like and only use the PGS database, instead of TomToms own. |

If they're aware of that, then I'm sure that's part of their rationale for the decision.
They've been pushing their own speed camera service again recently (18 months for £19.99) and I'm pretty sure they were claiming to have tarted it all up a bit too, in some way. Can't remember the details, sorry, I didn't really pay attention since I have no intention of changing from PGSW. |

Yesterday I updated my GO530 Live including their cameras. There are a bunch of new(ish) Specs cameras on the M5 south of Gloucester which they still haven't got - pgpsw CamerAlert on my iPhone is accurate, of course. _________________ Dennis

They are keeping it very quiet then? Perhaps a brown paper bag from under the counter? _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

Looks like EE have taken some 2G bandwidth, and possibly slowed down 3G in order to boost 4G speeds. Where they lead can Vodafone afford to be far behind? _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]
