ERROR: Problem With Map

When I attempt to operate my One XL using Home I get error "Problem with Map cannot use map on this device". The map is Western Europe. The device 'One XL' itself works fine with all funcionality, the TomTom Home downloads and installs Quickfix and map updates OK. This issue is I want to set my PIN which as I undertand can only be done using home? Anyone come across this before and have a solution. NB I have deleted Home and re-installed with latest version 2.9.2.2837, I have run Clearflash x 3, I have backed up and restored all with no luck. I have 237mb free space on the OneXL, and I can manage the device from Home Ok , installing voices / sounds etc.

If Home has a problem with your maps, what happens if you remove the maps from the TT to your PC and then try to change your PIN adding the maps back later?.
