Well done Dennis, you can now add Electrical Engineer to your qualifications, this is normal practice in some applications, the only problem is that if one goes they both go and also one can limit the otherid not sized correct.

It was installed under the bonnet of a sit-up-and-beg 1959 Ford Pop and whenever the ignition was on, there was a light shining under there. (It was at my suggestion, because from some distant past I remembered in physics that bulbs can be installed in parallel or series and one of them has different power consumption or something - explained why my Christmas lights eventually blew when enough failed). A motorcycle policeman once pulled alongside, said I had a light showing and was it safe? I said "Well, it was installed by my older brother who worked as a scientist at Jodrell Bank and Dounreay." and he said "Fair enough". I think he was partially impressed by the squares of wallpaper on the doors, installed by my nieces as an alternative to them doing it on walls.

Excuse me, now I'm off to build a competitor to that collider thingy in Switzerland
