In another thread scarymonkey talked about a Word Macro to convert the tab delimited files to the Format demanded by Sygic and that would be good to have if scarymonkey sitll has it.
If you have Excel, it might be easier to use that to convert. If you have a sample of the source file and the required file format, I will have a look at them and see if I can write an Excel macro for you if you want. For instance, converting a Tab delimited to a comma delimited is dead easy. Import the file as tab delimited and save it as a comma delimited. Having said thet, the 'McGuider' is tab delimited and the 'Other.csv' is comma delimited but otherwise the same data in the same order.

Using POI Edit you can batch convert ov2 files to a csv format acceptable to the new rupi converter. The trouble is that you have to manually edit each csv file to add the "delimiter=, line.

If I could find a way of automating that step (not so subtle hint Very Happy) then that would be preferable to using the older upi format.

I must be missing something here Sad Please let me know what it is Very Happy
How did McGuider get into the conversation?

The PGPSW Sygic .csv files already have the 'delimiter = ,' in them as the first line, or are you talking about someone elses database? Shocked .

Here is an example

delimiter=,
-0.73533,51.10935,"SW-SPECS:95626@0"
-0.7355,51.10948,"NE-SPECS:95627@0"
-0.71597,51.1222,"N-SPECS:96047@0"
-0.71577,51.12218,"S-SPECS:96281@0"
0.72185,51.51508,"Copyright PocketGPSWorld.com"

Is this not the correct format?

Is the required CSV format different from the Sygic Aura CSV that includes the delimiter=, line?

McGuider is the name that Sygic used to be called. I am not sure whether they were taken over or just changed their name, but McGuider produced the original version that used the old upi format for POIs.

I don't think so

The ones I convert regularly are personal sets of POIs that I manage on my Tomtom (far easier to add,edit, backup, use Tyre to fine tune etc.) and then batch convert to upi (or rupi).
