Can someone please tell me if its worth upgrading my Pioneer AVIC F20BT to the new Navteq maps.

Not having that unit,I can only make a very general comment...

Are you finding lots of errors on your existing maps as you drive around in your normal area? If not, I don't see a lot of point in spending the money.

Thanks for the quick reply, the problem is not with the maps, but what the unit does with them.
I was travelling through France earlier this year when it took me off the Autoroute through a toll booth around a rounderbout and the back onto the same Autoroute that I had just paid to leave. It did this three times AAhhhh!!!!


I also use the satnav when I am driving localy even though I know the area very well just to see what it does and a few times it has taken me off the motorway at a junction and then straight back on again.

It is just bloody annoying.
