A little bit of news that I find exciting but others probably won't... Laughing

After three years of being on the waiting list I finally got an Eddie Stobart truck named after me. We've just got to find out which depot the truck is based at now so that we can try and get a picture of it.

Sad yes, but it keeps me happy. Razz

I'll include the truck details below so that if anyone sees it on their travels; is an Eddie Spotter and goes to the depots regularly; or even drives for them, they could take a photo and email it to me. I would be ever so grateful. Smile

Arrow Name: LAURA KATHARINE

And that's an Irish registration. Will that mean it only operates in Eire?

Oh, I hope not. Sad

I thought that they might be using 'Registration' to mean something different than registration number plate as I didn't recognise the format, but you're right.

I have emailed Eddie Stobart to ask where the truck is based so hopefully they'll get back to me soon.

If you have an iDevice you can download an app that tracks Eddie Stobart lorries from the makers of the Planefinder and Shipfinder apps Pinkfroot. It's available from
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/stobart-finder/id572013288?mt=8

More details available at http://my.pinkfroot.com/page/stobart-finder

At time of posting Laura Katharine is just northwest of Dublin.

Sadly no android version though.

I saw my mates neice's truck - he posted a photo he took during a break for filming the Eddie Stobart TV programme. Mr Gareth Ayres, a mate of ours, was one of the drivers on the show and got Phoebe Grace named after his neice.

Wow thanks, dorsetwurzel - I'll definitely be downloading that app later!

That would be great if you could, Alix - I'd be ever so grateful.

Thanks, guys! Very Happy

That's where the song says the girls are so pretty - you and I have met Bo Peep, so we can confirm the description fits, no joke.

Ah yes. Eddie Stobart.

If it wasn't for William and Tink, TrucknetUK's forum would have no discussions.

No idea, I just know Phoebe Grace is his niece. I wasn't implying that it was *his* truck.
