But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Hi Guys looking for a bit of "easy to follow" technical advice if possible, I have a Tom Tom 1 New Edition which I have somehow lost the "Postcode" search facility from, Tom Tom have sent me supposedly the"Postcodes" in a Zip folder and about 5 pages of things to do to re-install, any body out there help please, or does anybody know of a place in the Glasgow area that might be able to help.
Many thanks for taking time to read this.
Cheers

Connect your TT to your computer
Shut down TT Home if it starts, we shall use Internet Explorer (or equivalent).
With Internet Explorer look at the Folders & Files already on your TT, Find the Folder "Zip" if present, delete it.
Copy the new Zip folder TT have sent you. Do NOT try to unzip it, it is not compressed.
Paste it to the (root of the) TT so that it goes with all the other folders and files.
Disconnect the TT and reboot.
Should be job done. Let us know if not. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599
