Upgraded to latest version today, and now the app cancels my bluetooth sound on handsfree when an alert is triggered. I had a similar problem with the earlier version, but this was sorted by the forced use of device speaker option - which does not appear in the options anymore. I've tried all the available options (default, bluetooth, device speaker) but only the device speaker option will work on my HTC Desire HD, otherwise I hear no sound from the app. If this cannot be sorted, can I revert to the older version (which worked really well!)

please explain in more detail what you are trying to achieve, and what you get instead. _________________ Lutz

OK, What I'm trying to achieve is to run Camera Alert and be able to use my phone to make handsfree calls at the same time. No prob with the last version, as the bluetooth connection worked normally but the alerts were sent via the speaker on my device. With the current upgrade everything is normal until I recieve an alert whilst on a call - at which point the call switches from bluetooth to the speaker on the phone (at normal volume - not even "speakerphone") and I cannot continue the call, as I can't hear the other person. This is with "device speaker" option selected, with any other option I get no audio from the app.

Thanks for the explanation. We have indeed temporarily disabled the code that prevents alerts from sounding while you are on a voice call. Let me check if we can re-enable that code, or find another workaround. _________________ Lutz

Thanks. The trouble is that the alerts do sound - and I don't have an issue with that - my problem is not being able to continue my call!
Thanks for helping

No, it means silent - no sound. You would still get the visual warnings though.
MaFt | Can I clarify this point?
I'm now on v1.3.6.601 and I have the "Overspeed warning" set to "Silence" and I have "Long speed limit popup" ticked. I get the popup ("Toast") displayed but I also get a slight interruption in the audio that I'm listening to - I'm sure it's only milliseconds, but it's enough to annoy when approaching a mobile. Is the system still trying to play a "dummy" short MP3, or should it not be opening the audio channel at all? _________________ Jock

There is currently no way around playing the silent audio (and influencing other audio that may be playing). We'll consider your input. Thanks. _________________ Lutz
