just downloaded the latested speed camera database and tried to update the via live and the add community content is missing from my tomtom

mytomtom is saying there are no updates for the via live and i went into settings in my tomtom to make sure i have the latest version of the software which i do. i've even downloaded mytomtom again and reinstalled it just to make sure. but no joy.

any suggestions??

also had a bit of an issue for the last three days with the unit taking ages to get a fix and connecting to live services which is a right pain in the arse when your trying to do multi drop deliveries and in and out the van all the time, slowed me right up on my deliveries

This issue of missing "Add community content" was quite common in the early days, but I haven't heard of it being an issue for quite a while now, so long as a user is on the latest version of MyTT and Navore on the device.

I'm sure you're right when you say everything is up to date, but to avoid any lingering doubt, can you mention exactly what software versions you currently have for MyTomTom and on the VIA?

thanks for the offer of help Andy but i'm all sorted now. i re installed my tomtom again, this time through internet explorer instead of google chrome and all's fine again. not sure if using google was the problem but it seems to have done the trick. now my camera's are upto date i've turned off tomtoms own speed camera service through live and the actual unit has become more responsive too.
