CamerAlert on Tablet Issue

After installing this on my 7" Tablet I am getting the following message -

Have just installed this on my 7” Tablet but keep getting the message

Sorry
The application CamerAlert(process com.pocketgpsworld.cameralert) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Button says Force Close

Have tried restarting but still occurs

The details of the tablet are
Sumvision Qualcomm HSUSB Device
Model No : msm7227_ffa
Android Version : 2.2.2
Kernel Version: 2.6.32.9-perf
Build No: I700T_P7_T01_TSMT_FT_S42_R_0_01_110830

I hope someone can help !

When you start CamerAlert again, do you get the option to send a crash report?

Restarted tablet

tried to run CA

same message

tried starting again without reboot still the same message

This may be a long shot but would you be willing to install the Android SDK ? That would give you the option to log the console output to your computer, and would give us a clue at what point in the startup process the app falls over. The crash logging is done very early on, so your force close must happen pretty much immediately when the app starts (else you would get the crash log option).

Does your device have an SD card?

Yes it has a microsd card

Can you please check if there are crash logs on the SD card? Under data/data/cameralert
