Any idea how to turn off the update feature as latest won't install, and I'd like to stop the prompt to install latest version that TT Home keeps offering?
Am 2.8.2.2264
Wants me to update to 2.8.3.2499
Thanks |

There is a workaround, Here.
Just be sure to edit the ini File with the version number you want to use (step 4). _________________ Richard

Oddly on my laptop running Vista Pro installed without grief; it was laptop running Vista Premium that it failed on. |

I'm confused.
Are you trying to stop Home installing a new version of itself, or trying to stop Home insisting on installing new versions of Navcore software on a device?
I was offered the update tonight, but rather then do the auto-install, I went to the TT website and downloaded the full installer from there (as I always like to keep a copy of each version)
On first run it threw up an error message "HOMERuntime.exe failed with error 0. Process fai;led to startup correctly. If the problem persists, please reinstall from...."
But it actually seemed to run fine anyway and on second start-up I didn't get the message again. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

The TT Home pop up box saying I must update, was an over write attempt presumably.
In the end I uninstalled TT Home via Control Panel, and tried again to
install latest version I'd downloaded.
Still wouldn't run.
When I rebooted which presumably cleaned up the uninstall, it then ran fine |
