I use Google Chrome along with My TomTom to add the CamerAlert database to my 1005. However I don't normally use Chrome as my default browser. This means that everytime I want to update my 1005 I have to change default browsers. Does anyone know how to set up My Tom Tom to default tto Chrome whilst still having IE as my default browser for all other applications?

Thanks

Alan

You can't. The default browser is a system-wide setting.

Could you maybe just create a desktop shortcut to Chrome with the MyTT website already pre-selected?

So in effect, you are "calling" MyTT from Chrome, rather than letting MyTT launch whichever browser it feels it should.

Yep it was as simple as that and it works. I simply call My Tom Tom from a bookmark inside Chrome. Don't know why I did'nt thnik of it myself. Ah well!!!

Many Thanks

It's a nickname I got stuck with way back in my school days.
