540 Live microphone not working.

Hi all,

Since I replaced the battery on my 540 the internal microphone hasn't worked. I've opened her up and checked the microphone connection thoroughly and it's fine. I've obviously damaged it.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get a replacement part?

You won't be able to get the specific spare part, but generic electret mic inserts are available from the likes of Maplin, CPC, Farnell and RS components. Most of them might be a bit big, but you might find something suitable.

You'd need to solder it onto the existing lead.
