Hi
Anyone got any info regarding this app on an LG P500, running op system 2.3.3 (eclair)?

Particularly

How much RAM does your Android app need? (Always a thorny issue!)

Can it be moved to SD card?

What are its demands on data download?

I'm asking because I still prefer to use my TomTom rather than my phone for a number of reasons; volume of announcements, clearer display etc.
However it would be useful to have the app on my phone for occasions when I might be a passenger in someone else's car who does not have Satnav.

Regards

I was using CamerAlert on my Hero using Android 2.1 and it was fine by itself. However if you wanted to run it in the background whilst you has a sat nav running in the foreground the phone did not have enough memory to do so. However I guess that is not what you want to do.

I have it now on my Sensation running 2.3.4 (and before that 2.3.3). It works fine both by itself and in the background while I run my Sygic sat nav app. And it is one of the apps that I can move onto the SD card, but I haven't needed to.

it will likely use around 7mb of RAM. the Hero mentioned above is incredibly lacking in RAM and processing power... I know, cos I had one!!
