How do I enter the GPS Coordinates i.e.
45.531650, 12.722425 (lat/long), +45 degree 31' 53.94", +12degree 43' 20.73"

Thank you

Here's a link to the Nuvi 200 Series Owners manual

Page 10 shows the procedure.

Basically its: Where to... / Coordinates, and the 'Format' button should allow you to change between decimal degrees (DDD.dddd), Degrees, minutes seconds (DDD,MM,SS) or Degrees, minutes and decimal minutes (DD.MM.mmmm)

If your coordinates are written using N,S,E,W before the numbers, you may need to replace S or W with a minus sign instead and just ignore N and E (so for example, N51.12345, W0.67890 would be entered as 51.12345, -0.67890). That's how Google maps shows coordinates, it just depends what formats the Nuvi can use.

---------------------

However, that manual covers the whole range of models in that series and some may have less or more features than others.

So if you don't see those menus on your model then it won't be possible to enter coordinates (some of the cheaper TomTom models are crippled in this way)

Hope it works for you with the 250....

From the start up screen hit the "Where To" then scroll down to "Coordinates" if the format isn't what you want hit the option to change this parameter (the three horizontal bars top left) followed by "Format" then enter the Lat/ Long values - Mike

... and then enter the FIRST TWO numbers you quoted (which are in "decimal degrees format).

The second pair are the same location using the "Degrees, minutes, seconds" format.

The location appears to be Viale Oriente, 30016 Jesolo VE, Italy.

Do you need to select the correct country before entering the coordinates?

I have selected the country.
It says :
Can not calculate route. No route near destination.
Any thoughts please?
Thanks
