voice menu on navigon 70 premium live

hi just picked this little beauty from fleabay ,only thin cant find a menu to change voices ,only the male voice,,also are there any custom tts computer voices i can install on it ? many thanks

The product specs here specifically mention text to speech capabilities (and the demo video has a female voice on it!)

However, the user manual which is here, doesn't seem to mention selecting voices at all!
(only voice control).
There's no mention of TTS voices being available.

So it's there somewhere, but obviously well hidden

The only downloadable voices I've found so far are here, but there's only 2 packs of "funny voices" which doesn't inspire much confidence in their usefulness.

The situation at present is that there is only one TTS voice on the 70, whicch in the UK is 'Henry'. Comments/complaints have been made but we wait to see if Navigon will add anything.

And now Garmin have taken them over, goodness only knows what the future holds!!

As Andy_P rightly says, the optional voices are non-TTS. I've got them but only because I didn't have to pay for them . It's the sound quality which is important and some of them are clearer than the standard female non-TTS voice. I prefer to use non-TTS on the 'open road', as they still give the road number -this is much more useful than road names anyway, as they often aren't shown outside towns anyway.
