Camera Alert - Menu button does not work on Dell Streak

I downloaded Camera Alert for my Streak yesterday and all went OK and was able to set it up - no problem. Today I find that the Small Camera at the top Left hand side - The Menu access does not do anything!!
What am I doing wrong or can anybody help.
For interest how do I update to the latest database in the future or is it automatic??

The menu is accessed via the 'Menu' button on your device. To update you press Menu | Manage Cameras - Download database

Installation is automatic and you will be reminded whenever an update is available.

'the small camera at the top left' is in the notifications bar. this simply shows you that CamerAlert is running and will also show the number of nearby cameras when you pull it down. tapping it when pulled down should bring CamerAlert into focus again if it was in the background.
