Activate free speedcam updates??

I got Navman 478 yesterday - heard you have to drive it for 20 mins to activate new device and in turn activate free speedcam updates (1 year)

Drove it 80 miles yesterday on motorway, got home, installed Miomore software v 4.7 but says "no subscriptions available"

Wondering whether it measures 40 miles *after* connecting to your PC?

Whats the deal with this?

The 12 Month free trial does not show in the 'My Subscriptions' part of the desktop as the 12 month free trial does not include updates.
The Argos website is not clear when it states ;Free updates
