Time delay before cameras appear

Scenario: Driving up M6 to J19, then on A556 towards M56 J7.

As I approached J19 I thought it strange that the mobile camera on the bridge hadn't appeared on the screen, but thought it may be because it points South so didn't affect me heading North.

But as I turned onto the A556 heading North I realised that the GATSO just North of the junction (but pointing South) hadn't appeared either, and did not even as I passed it.

So I then kept an eye out for the two GATSOs just North of the A50 junction (one South facing, one North facing) appearing on the screen.

As I approached the A50 junction all three GATSOs appeared on the screen (well within the edges so they hadn't just come into view) and it warned me about the North facing camera.

Has anybody else experienced this display delay?

Using an HTC Desire HD (non-rooted)
Map zoom: 11
No data connection so usually a blank map page with a blue dot, except where Google Maps has cached the map.

The warning logic is totally decoupled from the map. If you want to verify, use the list mode. The list is fed from the warning logic.
