I have the '09 Note Tekna with Nissan Connect. The speed cam's from here in Garmin Other .csv work superbly. But the mapping is woefully out of date, the SD card in the Connect says 2009, but I suspect it's using older data.
Anyway, I have my car through Motability and questioned my dealer when I could get the 2010 mapping, at cost to Mobility. He said it will be, 'on the system to order in September, so phone back then'.
Just thought I'd share this, maybe some of you are disabled like me.

Will.

Phoned dealer about 2010 mapping updates to Note. I was told that no way would Motability pay the hundreds of pounds to update maps that would be "out of date tomorrow". I stifled a laugh at this stage!!
Phoned Motability guy who said as long as the SatNav system was "standard", that they would "of course" pay for the update. Really? The Motability guy wanted to speak to the dealership guy and ask why he said what he did, then he's gonna phone me back. Seems the dealership guy isn't reachable. Hmmm.
So, when i'm phoned back and know more i'll post the result.

Will.

And so, Motability guy phoned back today. Turns out the dealer will be in touch with me shortly to arrange the updating of my Note's satnav mapping! But! and it's a big BUT. I'm only getting it because I was misinformed the first time I phoned Motability! The updating of Nissan Maps are not included in your 3 year Car Scheme! Now that's a whole different injustice isn't it!
So it seems I'm just lucky, and everybody who's driving around in a Nissan vehicle with the satnav installed will have to pay hundred's for yearly map update's.
I'm going to write to Motability, their monthly magazine Lifestyle and Nissan about this. If it's gonna cost a fortune to give each disabled driver updates, they might as well buy them TomTom's and save money.
Sorry for the bad news folks, but hey, maybe you've got a nice dealer who'll try his best for you.
Good luck, Will.

Well it took blummin ages for Nissan, Crosby to get in touch with me didn't it. So I phoned them and was told that the 'new' SD Mapping cards were now 'on' the computer! He ordered it and phoned me the next day to say pop in and we can do it for you.
When I turned up at the dealers the guy behind the counter asked for my SD card and handed over the 'new' (probably out of date already) 2010 one. I put it in the Connect system and a dialogue box told me that new software had been found, Install? It only took about 10 minutes to load then another 300yds of driving before the arrow was spot on the road. I had to re-enter my Home address and that was it.
I was told by letter that me getting this for free was a one-off, because someone in Mobility told me I could get this when I couldn't. But it really gets on my nerves that Mobility users with Nissan Connect systems are driving around with three year old mapping in the loan time of their vehicles! I emailed Nissan and Mobility about this and have had no replies as yet.

I don't see why it would not be but with our stupid laws it could be.

I guess we cant sell items like CD's or DVD's and would have to send to landfill, but if we don't own it and cant sell it maybe the manufactures should provide a free returns procedure so they can get rid of their own waste.

For anyone else looking for one you need to try ang get 25920BH00C although 25920BH00B maybe OK as it is 2010 but not the latest C version.

Because it could have been a pirate copy burnt on a blank DVD!! You'd be suprised how many bargins on eBay are not that legit. Just asking so no need to be so defensive. Many people buy thinking they are getting legit goods and end up with hooky copies.

Apologies for any offense.

No they are SD cards and encrypted so can't as far as I know be copied.

I wish I could make a backup as it is not very secure in the car.
