CamerAlert / Google Nav

Finally I can get rid of TomTom but I have one small question.

I use Google Nav for Navigation and on approaching a camera the banner appears at the bottom from CamerAlert but only remains in place for the duration of the voice.

If I use CamerAlert on its own the camera will remain red until I pass it - can you make the banner stay in place longer over Google Nav ?

Going to jump in feet first - so probably wrong.
I think there have been similar posts about Google Navigation, and I believe it is different to Google maps and things can't be added to it or overridden whatever.

regardless of what app is being run in the foreground (google nav, maps, email, messages, skype etc) the red banner will only display for a couple of seconds.

this is by design as, presumeably, the reason you have another app in the foreground is because you want to see it!!

if you turn on overspeed warnings in the advanced settings then you will be alerted if you creep over the limit when approaching the camera awith a big speed limit pop up to remind you of the speed. this negates the need for keeping the camera/speed info banner on display. if you are under the speed limit then you have nothing to worry about anyway.

it's non-configurable at the moment. you're the first person to ask for it! perhaps for a future update. who knows?!
