NEED HELP WITH 1GO 5500A GPS

Just bought a GPS 1go 5500. Charged the thing for 8 hours as advised, was going through all the settings and I don't know how I got to a screen which said "Please point the images centre area correctly" with a "+" in the middle of the screen. You press the screen and it moves around etc - now the bloody thing will not turn off or change screens - seems to have frozen. Anybody out there .....heeeeeelp!!

I had the same with MyGuide 4328. It happens when plugged into PC. Switch off satnav, then unplug. Switch on again and all should work
