Hi Guys

I've not used my CoPilot on my HTC Hero for a couple of weeks (my car has been in for repair). I went to use it today only get the welcome screen flash up for a couple of seconds and then it reverted back to my home screen with the CoPilot icon sitting top left of the screen with the option 'touch here to maximize CoPilot' when swiped. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing it but it made no difference.

I am running CoPilot version 8.2.0.316, Android firmware version 2.1 update 1 and software number 3.32.405.2 (I think the software has been updated since I last used CoPilot, so this may be the problem)

Any ideas how to fix this?

between uni-install & re-install did you try a phone reset i.e. battery out.

You have the latest software for Co-Pilot but I can't help with the phone software, I've a HTC Desire and the software versions can vary with model.

Did you buy CoPilot from the market or via the web? If from the web don't forget to note your licence key.

If a soft reset doesn't work you may have to try a hard reset (back to factory settings) but only as a last resort.

I don't know the Hero, does it store the CoPilot program on an SD card, if so after uninstall delete the CoPilot directory, on the SD card, and re-install the program.

Post the sequence of your actions to see if I can assist further.

Hi Duddy,

Thanks for your input. all now OK. Complete fresh install after deleting copilot folder on SD card as well as program.
