any of you out there got compass that points to Destination , rider3 firmware don't do it any more, 9.205 has broke this option ,I have roled it back to 9.200 and the option is there to select, but only piont north no matter what I do it only point north , from what firmware did it stop being used ? ,I'm going to put some other 9.xxx firmware on it to get it to work

| I don't think there ever was a Navcore release for the Rider_3 that included the Compass options you found on the x20/ x30 units at product launch, my guess would be an early Navcore 8 release but you won't find that for the Rider_3 - Mike |

Thats a good one, looks like they have disabled the feature (as they have done with all the other models) but in the case of Rider_3 they have left the option screen available to view.
If you need the number to ring its 0845 161 0009 but please let us know the outcome to this one, I somehow doubt they will get the old style compass options operational on your device - Mike |

maybe we should start a we want the compass back partition
not having it there is to stop us seeing how bad the navcore is at routing us
thank they gave me the number after 8 e-mails
ps in 9.205 all you get is show compass and no options |

Pity, as I had to go to various places in Birmingham today. I don't know the place and got thoroughly disoriented. Didn't know if I was going North or South and as I don't trust SatNavs to take me where I want to go, a compass is essential.
BRING BACK THE COMPASS (please)

| think you missed something ,you can have it pointing north ,but I want it to point to Destination with distance left ,becoz tt will route you 30 miles more to save you 30 sec ,if I let route shortest it will take me down deadly roads for a motorcycle ,I had it on my rider 1 which died only getting 4 sats ,but rider 3 had the option to sellect it in 9.200 but it dont work and in 9.205 all you get is north |
