Problem with POI Loader

I have been using POI Loader with sox.exe successfuly for a long time now to transfer Andy voice alerts to my Nuvi.
However, out of the blue I got an error massage stating that POI was unable to locate sox.exe. and POI just stoped responding.

I uninstalled the version of POI Loader I was using and downloaded the latest version from Garmin. I even installed it in its own folder with no other applications.

However, when I run the new version of POI Loader I get the error message "Cannot find C:\Garmin|sox.exe" followed by an error message for each of the wav files I have e.g. "Unable to convert C:\Speed Camera/Pocket GPS_SS_Gatso.wav"

Can anyone help please.

Do you have a file called sox.exe in the C:\Garmin folder?

Try re-downloading it.

Thank you. I had sox.exe in my Garmin folder but reinstalling it and adding it to the camara folder has cured the problem.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
