cheap GPS recevier with RS232

At present using an old Garmin streepilot III, just as a signal source for the GPS. A fantastic receiver with an external antenna (Cheapo from Maplin)

I am looking for a receiver which will give me the RS232 NMEA data, for use with my APRS radio.
Dont actually need the satnav bit.

Price is important, not too worried about appearance as it can be stahed away.

RS232 and NMEA are two different protocols.

Almost all GPS receivers will offer NMEA data but are you asking for a receiver that terminates in an RS232 9-pin D plug or will USB do?

How about one of These its powered by 12V DC (car ciggy socket) and transmits NMEA data using the RS232 protocol, I used to have three of these on the roof of my last car, never really had an issue with any of them, worked a treat and not too costly - Mike
