TomTom Home will not install

Dear All
I have tried versions 2.7, 2.6, 2.5, 2.4 and 1.6. None will install on my laptop.
Tried with the virus software turned off, removed all signs of tomtom from the laptop including registry entrys.
Asked tomtom for help and they replied that it is a problem with the laptop, JESUS I never thought of that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone help please?????????????

What operating system is your Laptop running, XP, Vista or Windows 7 32 or 64 bit? - Mike

Do you have net framework installed on your computer? If not, you need to get it. Can be found here:

The .Net program has done the trick, shame Tomtom could not have offered this advice.
