I need to know if I can use the live services in the rest of Europe

Yes you can as the x50 devices were shipped with roaming enabled so they will work across Europe, note the Live services will only work in countries that support the Live service so not all countries are included as yet - Check as to which ones are via the TT web site - Mike

Having trawled through the overkill of information on the TT site, havew found that the following countries support LIVE services.

Quote:
All LIVE device can receive LIVE Services in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Portugal.

I did Holland - Belgium - France earlier this month, and the LIVE services worked great on my 740. Very impressed.

I download from TT Home a Garmin colour scheme because I prefer the clean lines to the browny and red thing that TT use as their default.

Wow, someone likes the Garmin colour scheme. Alas this is my pet hate as it seems the Americans love pastel coloured roads.

It is this simple matter plus the hard to see "arrow" or marker that makes Garmin very annoying to me.

On a recent US trip it was difficult to see what direction the "car" icon was facing, so I changed it to an arrow. Then this arrow was a similar colour to the wide road line so I had to change it again...etc etc.

On the old NavMan units colours were just ideal and the arrow is sharp and slightly wider than the road so you can easily see where you are and in what direction you are facing.

So it is a surprise folk like the Garmin pastel colour scheme. Why is the motorway pink!!?? Ohh I feel sick, it reminds me of some medicine.

And why can't you change the Garmin colours?? Pity.

What did you think of the "Eco Route" option - is it any good or just a gimmick?
