Bluemedia BM6300

I have been given a Bluemedia BM6300 I think its regarded as a navigon (not sure) sorry if this post is in the wrong place. Problem is I cannot turn it on I dont have a manual so its all guess work. I have tried pressing the power button and fiddling with the wierd on/off slide switch on the back. It is kinda recognised by my PC but dosent see it as actual device. The screen is just blank and no lights come on. Is it a brick or does anyone have a clue whats wrong. Does it need reseting or something. My brother swares it worked until he did something with the reset. (brothers! ) Please someone help!

The recessed switch on the back should be set to the ON position. Unscrew the top off the stylus that slots into the side of the unit and use the pin to reset by pushing it into the hole just beneath the SD card slot. I take it that you've charged it up? These units are getting a bit old now so the battery may take some time to take enough charge to power up the unit.
