it needs the latest road maps and camera info,can anyone tell me how and where to get this info ,

Map updates can only be bought from Navman. I don't think the iCN520 is officially supported now but you can check on their website or by emailing them
As for Speedcams, again Navman have their own service or you can subscribe to ours.

Given the 520 had SirfII GPS, not Bluetooth, MP3 and otehr toys, and it's battery will now be at the end of useful life, even if you can get maps at a reasonable price, a replacement is almost certainly a better option.
Alternates are to hack your 520 and then you can buy other CE based packages - bing "Navman Unlocked". Depending where on this planet you are, once unlocked you can then get access to Opensource maps and applications - only for those who have lots more spare time than me .
